During a trip to Ottawa in 2014, Jeff and I asked my thirteen year old son to wait for us at a table with our luggage inside the Second Cup of the Montreal train station food court.  When we came back with our trays of food, Aidan was gone and I panicked.  After finding him on the other side of the wall and learning that an employ of the cafe had kicked him out, Jeff protectively stormed towards the young woman and gave her an ear full.

When my pet budgie, Snow, died on August 10, 2015 I took it really hard.

Jeff went to the side yard with me and dug a hole in the hard dirt under a lillac tree despite all the mosquitos attacking him. 

(He did the same when my other budgie, Link, died on November 9th, 2015.)
